"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Open a New project, and from the template choose Active X dll.

then it'll create a class for you.

so in that class you can just create ur methods properties as u want. for example inside class1..

public function Reply(byval strmsg as string)
on error goto Error

'what u do in the function
exit functoin
Error:
 Err.raise bla bla
end fucntion

now after u compile, it'll create an activeX dll.. u can invoke its reply method from another project...[add the referenec to the dll ]

then,

set blah as new Class1

blah.reply("parameters")

thats all
