Platforms that support COM

Somewhere I heard that COM was supported on multiple platforms (Windows, Unix, etc.) I am looking for a current table or listing of which platforms will and will not support COM? Please give the url.

COM is supported in UNIX/LINUX platforms thru thirdparty products like  Interix (www.interix.com) and datafocus (www.datafocus.com). Also Compaq provides some COM support in its DIGITAL line of UNIX machines (www.unix.digital.com/com).

Recently, Microsoft announced about COM interface to DB2 RDBMS in IBM Mainframe (www.microsoft.com/com).
