modify print style button is greyed out

A while back I defined a print style and now want to modify it (File | Print | Define Styles) but find that the "Define Styles" and "Page Setup" buttons are greyed out so that I cannot select them. How can I get to my style?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

It might have to do with your e-mail format (Tools, Options, Mail Format tab). I started with HTML and the buttons were greyed out, but when I switched to RTF, the buttons became available

I had to switch my format setting to HTML to accomplish this same thing... but it worked. Thanks.

I had the same problem.  In the print dialog box I selected the Table Style first to make the Define Styles button active.  Then when clicked on the Define Styles button I was able to select my style for editing.
