Keyboard unlock

I have a 486 dx66 8 meg ram with windows 3.1 and when booting up an error comes up before anything is loaded:
"keyboard locked. Unlock keyboard then press F1 to resume"
How do I unlock a keyboard?

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

On your PC you must have a keyhole. Find the key, turn ...

No key ?
Open your PC. There is a cable from this keyhole ( keyhole = switch).
Unplug cable.

Thanks, you were right and the problem is fixed. I couldn't get the key to work at first (it is a borrowed computer) and joined the cables together but still wouldn't boot up  but after I pulled out the plug like you said it booted up after a couple of hiccups and now works fine!

Thanks, Frache
