counting backwards in a vbscript "for next" loop (urgent)

How do you loop backwards in a vbscript for next loop?
This doesn't work when you start with the larger number as
i do here:

for iYear = 1999 to 1995
      Response.Write ( iYear & "<br>")
next

Thanks,
Dena

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

for iYear = 1999 to 1995 step -1
Reponse.Write ( iYear & "<br>")

Is this for an ASP document???

Cause the 'Response' Object doesn't work on the client.

for iYear = 1999 to 1995 step -1
Document.Write ( iYear & "<br>")
next

thanks Boycey.

I misread the doc on it.
didn't realize you needed "step" as well as the "-1"
