Saving Files on Zip Drive.

How do you save webs to a Zip drive?(FrontPage2000) If you save it to the zip drive you only save part of the web (no shared borders). If you publish to the drive, it overwrites the index.htm file as well as well as not separating each web.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You should use QuickSync from Iomega.  This is part of the IomegaWare™ 2.1 package available from the download area of their site.  It backs up your files as you modify them, ensuring there is always the latest one there.

You should specify the directory where your site is being developed as the site to be backed up.  It can also save archived versions of the files, just in case something drastically wrong happens.

They are automatically saved with (1), (2) etc added to the names of the files.  You can set this with QuickSync settings.

To save the webs to the drive without downloading anything, all I had to do was drag and drop the file from "my webs" into the zip drive. Thanks.

Well, there was always that, but you have to remember to do it!
