Lines on Screen when scrolling down

When I place a pdf file on a page in FrontPage or Adobe PageMill when viewed on a browser if I scroll down the page from the Windows scroll bars, lines appear across the page from the top, blocking the view of the pdf file. How do I stop this?

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Does Tim Richardson imply that I would have to rewrite the actual application in  either Windows, the browser or the pdf file, if so I could not do this? It would be easier to say it is not possible to get over the problem or be more specific with the details. More information please.

It could be a problem with any one of the applications.  However, it is a very common one if the application has a bug.

How do I find if the application has a bug?, it seems to happen in many if not all of the computers the pdf files on our webpages are viewed from. These are in a password directory which I cannot pass on (pun?). On our main directory there is one pdf file on a page, 'Dates for the 2000 Diary' (www.andersons.co.uk) which has been composed in GoLive which has got round the problem but I need to resolve it in FrontPage or PageMill as the person composing the pages for our password directory uses either of these HTML Editors.

Well, I am not sure you can get round the problem, except for reporting it to Adobe :-(

What version of browser are you using?  Is the pdf file graphically intensive?

HallmarkAuthor Commented:
Browser Microsoft IE 5 and the graphics make no difference (the same text or graphics). I think I need to speak to Microsoft, I have already spoken to Adobe, they said to put the pdfs in frames, this works in Golive but for me in PageMill or FrontPage.

That would be your best bet.
