FP98...Need HTML/Script for the following...

I need HTML/Script, which may be pretty simple, that requires the user to type in an item into a block, then press a "go" button, and open an HTM file after that name:

File to go to? ____________ (Type in 456-435-2)

press the "go" button...

and finally a file in that directory named 456-435-2.htm is opened in the browser..It's something that basically adds the ".htm" extension to whatever the user types, then opens the page that match the entry..

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

What you need is probably simple JavaScript, but you will need to be careful in putting it in Front Page 98.
<form name=frm>
<input type=text name=filename>
<input type=button name=btnGo value="Go" onclick="GetFile()">
<script language=JavaScript>
function GetFile() {
   var str
   str = document.frm.filename.value + ".htm"
   window.location = str

Should do it.
