Try selecting Set a Custom Resolution and then make sure there is not a check next to Rescan. &nbsp;If there is, remove it so that no rescan is done.<br />

If the software gave you a message that the uninstall information did not copy over, it is most likely related to whatever virus software you have on the machine. &nbsp;I some cases it may be necessary to completely uninstall the antivirus software to install the scanner, especially if it is Norton's.<br />

I have the scanjet 3300c and when I select start scan and then send the scan to omnipage pro 10 it rescans the document.<br />

And also my software disk failed to install uninstall.<br />

Send scan twice
