How to convert MP3 files to .wav & ViceVersa ???

I'm developing an application,which deals with the editing of .wav files in graphical format..
  Now I want to know ,how to decode MP3 files & from a .wav file & vice-versa???
 Anybody can help me out ???

you can download a free encoder with sourcecodes, a dll and header files at:

http://home8.swipnet.se/~w-82625/default.htm

that should do the job quite nice.. I use it myself, and I don't have problems with it.
