Is it safe to use this feature without corrupting my windows 98 program ?

off course, it's there to fix known problems in Win98.
But I suggest you only install the recommended updates. The rest is some 'extra-stuff' that you might not need. So to exclude the risk of corrupting your system, only install the updates that are recommended.

Thanks, we get so much junk from some people and we are afraid to use the tools which are provided.
