I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

The only way I can think of would be to keep it on a password-protected partition on your hard drive (or mapped drive, if on a LAN).  Thus, before access is granted to the executable, the standard drive access prompt comes up.  Only users with the password to read the drive would gain access.

Hope this helps...

Not really, it's a work machine and I can't divide it up....I'll leave it open for a bit and if nothing comes up the points are yours.

That's a long enought wait...
Figure I'll copy the exe to a disk and then delete it from the hard drive and each time before I use  it I will run a little app that restores the file and when finished I will close the app and on closing it will delete the exe from the hard drive again...

Should work...
