Kernel compile

I have installed Mandrake Linux 6.5.  I installed kernel RPMS, however there is no "/usr/src/linux" directory. Is it
different with Mandrake.

You did not install the Kernel source RPMS. If you had you would indeed find the /usr/src/linux directory.

I will check again to make sure that I  did indeed install the Kernel source RPM
I now know that there must me a /usr/src/linux  directory.
