mail notification
how I can notify when my pc open there is a mail or not?
If there's a way to do this, I'd really be interested, but from my understanding of the application there is no way to have the PC check mail without opening the application first. I've had instances where I've closed OL but MAPI32 was still running in the background, and I got new mail notification - but that was just a temporary problem and not something I could duplicate.

Nescape there is mail notify, we can keep this in taskbar with startup program so the new mail will indicate with flag. I need same as in Explore 5.o ms outlook, hope this possible? or we have to open ms outlook?

As far as I know there is no mail notify for MS Outlook. Considering the amount of mail programs today that have notification systems, one would think that Microsoft woudl have incorporated that feature by now. But yes, you will have to have MS Outlook open to receive a "New" Mail" notification.
