"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

is this some sort of school assignment?

It is unethical for us to provide answers to school assignments - and failure to complu is grounds for removal from the site of both expert and questioner concerned.

You are right jasonclarke. It seems people are trying to get answers for school problems like this. This guy can see these things in any text books. It will be good if we all use ths forum for exchanging experts ideas not problem rather than small assignments.

you can convert object member variables,
or the return types of object methods
using type casting.  I believe this is
the only direct way of doing it although
any function you wanted to write could
do a conversion.  Example:

class Names;
UINT phone;

phone = (UINT)Name.phone;
