seting the modem speed to max

my isp basically sucks and i need all i can get i have a 56k but my isp only runs 33.6 and i now run like this &f&c1&d2&k3s10=50s11=38s15=128s32=34 it is a us robotics modem and i wish to overclock it to the max eithe rby changing this value or by a program that works in windows 2000! and no download accelorators either! So if you know anything about these numbers i would greatly like your help!

You say your ISP only run at 33.6
If you mean that is as high as they offer well I believe you are stuck.
If they offer 56 make sure you are using the correct dail up number.
Your speed is also governed by the quality of your phone line.

the above string is used to force the USR to not negotiate any higher speeds, thsi is done when the other side uses some specific DCE's. What does that mean in plain english?

Your ISP only supports 33k6, and there is nothing you can do about that.

ok then explain to me why my isp always calls and says i am running faster that 33.6! it can run faster i am running 38.9 by what the isp says i need to know how to go faster!IT CAN BE DONE!

The manual for your modem has them all. They differ from modem to modem.
