Is this IE5, VBE or Windows 98 ? Q.10261477

Q.10261477 -- is worth 50 points in VB Controls, not sure where it belongs.  Wonder why there's always a VBE directory in my Windows\temp directory and/or if this is a problem.

Not sure where this belongs, so posted it in the VB controls area and this area with 0 points.  The original in VB Controls is 50 points.

Probably easy, but just want to make sure.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

That's been a point of discussion with us as well; glad to see that you've found the solution.  We guessed it had to do with the Office 2000 package.  It pays to read all these troubleshooting threads, since we learn along the way as well.

Time to quit deleting these tmp directories; it sure explains why things slow down.
