outlook express access from remote server

when i connect to my msn account from another ISP i can receive mail, but can't send mail.  i get an STMP server error.  is there a way around this?  i have two ISPs and it is a nuisance to switch connections just to send a message.
thanks

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Not sure if you have tried this, but can you set the MSN SMTP server to your ISP's?  (Thinking they (ISP) might not reject it since it is coming from an IP address within there network.)

I think you have to use this as the SMTP server name:
secure.smtp.email.msn.com
