linux and finger

Can you please help me with some command or script with which I can find out who fingers me ??? ( I am using Linux 2.0.29)

But whatever the installables are available there, would I be able to install and run them by being an ordinary user or I should have superuser privileges ?

I use them only as root. I never tried them as a normal user.

Yes it works if you set the s-flag for the tcpdump file ( = running the programm as superuser)
