Outlook & Forms...
Hi,
We use Oulook97/98 and Exchange 5.5. I am working on something
new for me... the forms.
I did a couple of tests. I have created a form "Test_form" message class "IPM;Note", published and saved it.
My form is a resized text zone plus 2 check boxes...
I can use this form to write a message, check a box and send this form, but
The recipient gets only a standard message window with the text I have sent (no more check boxes).
More strange (I guess) He can get the form if he forwards my mail...

I have already checked this box.
Here is step by step what I did from OL97 :
- File/New message
- Tools/Create outlook form
- I have resized the text message zone
- Add a check box on the left side of the window
- Checked the option "Send form definition with item..."
- File/Publish the form as...
Name "Form1"
Pubish in... "Public folder" (specific folder called 'Plaisir')
- File/Save as... in my local personal server.
- Then I close the window... but it asks "Do you want to save.."
I already did it !!
- Back to OL main window, I click on Plaisir (Public folder)
- Click on Message (Action in US version ?)
- Choose" New -Form1"
I can see my form with a small test erea and the check box
- I write something in the text zone, check the box and send it
to myself
- I open the received mail.... and the only thing I can see is a
NORMAL message window with the text I have put before in the
small text zone. No more check box.
What's wrong ??????????
In the same time I am going to have a look on the sites you
mentionned.
