same link - multiple URLs?

By clicking on a link I should be able to bring up the HTML file corresponding to the current month (I have 12 html files one for each month) How can I create the link to do this?

You would have to use some javascript to perform this task .. here it goes .......
say this is your link <a href="" onClick="callpage()">....</a>

put this in the header portion of the page
function callpage() {
            // this line would return you the current month 0 thru 11
            mm = date.getMonth();
           window.location.href="page" + mm + ".html";
