Zoom PC Modem & Red Hat Linux 5.2

Hello,

I have a Dell Dimension T500 (500Mhz) which came preinstalled with Windows 98 2nd edition. When I tried to install Red Hat 5.2, it found all my PnP hardware besides my modem. However, the Windows side of my PC found the modem, but didn't know how to use it properly. So, i'm wondering, what do I have to do in order to configure my modem correctly, etc.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

The modems in the Dells are rockwell based HCF modems, they are what is (incorrectly) called "Winmodems".

It wont work in linux.
