Setup Internet Mail on Domino R5

I have installed domino R5 domino mail server for Windows NT Server4.0,but I don't know how to configure it for the internet mail(smtp & pop3).I just can send and receive mail though Lotus Notes client using Lotus Mail but cannot do these using smtp&pop3(like outlook express).
Help me! Thanks!

As long as you have left the ports piece alone in the server document, at the server console type load pop3  This will enable you to set up pop3 clients to hit the R5 server with a username and password that is specified with a person document to get their mail.  SMTP is a little more detailed, but you need a global domain document.  Once that is set up then you can type at the server console load smtp.

To get these started when the notes server starts, edit the notes.ini file (usually located in c:\winnt) and on the ServerTasks= line add pop3 and smtp.

Good luck,

At the server console,I notice that there some error messages:POP3 Server Initialization failure(POP3Domain not defined). When I type "load pop3",the error message also appears. What should I do? Further more, how can I setup the Internet mail user in the Notes Email Server(for example,my domain is abc.com,user jim should have email address jim@abc.com)?
Thanks for your kind help!
