installing voodoo3 drivers from a floppy

after I download drivers for a voodoo3 from the linux.3dfx site, how do I incorporate them from the floppy to linux wtihout using X, internet, or network capabilities?  I don't know much so be specific please!

copy the file to the a floppy in windows, and then to use the floppy type:
cd /
mkdir /floppydir
mkdir /holdfloppy
mount /dev/fd0 /floppydir
cd floppydir
cp /floppydir /holdfloppy
then if it is compressed tpye
gunzip file.zip
tar -xf file
then cp XF86_SVGA /usr/X11R6/bin
then type XF86Setup and choose standard VGA. This is what I did to setup my card, I belive this will do it for yours.
