I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Find your Adobe photoshop prefs.psp file, and rename it old prefs.psp and then restart your computer.  That should solve most of your problem.

I would recommend a removal of Photoshop from the Control Panel using Add/Remove programs.  If you have Win98, then reboot to dos, and at the
C:\ prompt type scanreg/fix  After the scanreg is done, restart, reload the Photoshop program, and you should be ready to go.

These are two different suggestions.  You can try the first one, and if it doesn't work, then a remove, scanreg, and reinstall should fix up whatever is wrong.
