I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Check out this:

http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/q145/6/79.asp?LNG=ENG&SA=MSDN

It provides some details on saving and retreiving stuff from the registry.

If you could be more specific, and or post some code, I could help more.

you get access to any part of the Registry, take a look at the Registry API's, like RegOpenKey, RegQueryValueEx and RegCloseKey.
