Networking G4 & Powebase 180

I've just moved up to a G4(yeah) and I want to get stuff from my PowerBase 180 into the new G4. Networking is not my thing. Is there a way to connect the two if the PowerBase doesn't have an ethernet connection? I have a serial serial port to usb adapter going through a usb hub.

Nope. The powerbase doesnt have usb. And you cant network through USB anyway. I am however positive that the powerbase has ethernet though. It will either look like a big fat phone plug or a short AAUI plug (not sure how to describe the AAUI). Either way it will have a <€€€> symbol over it. Then all you need is an ethernet crossover cable. $6 at your local computer store will solve that problem.
