"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You don't need to worry about that folder, it isn't used to "tell" VC anything.  it is used by VC to tell YOU what the external dependancies are.  If it detects external dependancies when it ciompiles a project, it adds them to the folder for you to see.  That's all.

If you include basetsd.h in one of the .cpp files in your project (or in any other file in the project), the VC compiler will detect it and show it int he folder.
