What distribution do you have? &nbsp;In SuSe 6.3 is goes to linux 3 and no matter what you type in the window it doesn't seem to work. &nbsp;If this is distribution, reboot and when it you see it starting type in 'linux 2'. &nbsp;This worked for me and recognized my password. &nbsp;
