Licensing and the INET control

I am trying to get the INET control to function client-side from VBScript in IE4 - I get the error "The control could not be created because it is not properly licensed" when I try to create an instance of the object from the script.

This is inspite of the fact that Microsoft says that this control is freely distributable and it has been installed and registered on the client machine - because VB6 applications successfully use it.

What am I doing wrong?

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.
