Installation Problem w/ aha1520a

During the install of Linux-Mandrake 6.1 the install script will not recognize my aha1520a.  The only drives in the box are SCSI.  Immediately following the "Scanning Adaptec 152x SCSI bus..." I get a message stating that the device can't be found anywhere.  The drive do come to life during the scan, so I'm not sure what the issue is.

GO into the HW setup of your 1520, disable SCAM and PnP, and do _not_ use IRQ 9 or 2

Should fix it.
