Install vb6 application
When I try install VB6 Application on
PC which hasn't installed VB6 every time
I have message:
An error occured while registering the file 'C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\EXPSRV. DLL' Abort/Retry/Ignore
And the same message maybe for OCX controls and other necessary VB6 files.
How can I install VB6 Applications without any weird messages like it was in VB5 ?
Regards

Install shield is a better option for the preparing install set up as compared to VB6.0 Set up...
I believe "error registering 'C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\EXPSRV. DLL' is a known bug/issue to the P&D wizard - search the MS knowledge base or EE.
However, like already suggested, my advise is also to get rid of the P&D wizard and use some 3th party tool like IS Express/Professional or WISE.
I believe MS has launched a new SETUP tool, but I got no experience with it - and prefer to keep it that way.

You must have REGSVR32.EXE file in the system directory!

Thanks to all guys who tried to help me.
I did download SP3 (as emoreau said), rebuilt all my VB6 apps, created new installation SW, tested it and now everything works OK.
That's reason why I rejected akos_m's answer and must give 70 points to emoreau. Anyway thanks again to akos_m's.
Cheers
