downloading mac files to windows

My Dad has an old Mac Performa 600 (68030). His quicken version was not Y2K compliant. Intuit sent him an upgrade, however its on CD. His Mac doesn't have a cd. I have a Gateway 2000 windows 95. I have been trying to download to my pc then copying to floppy for his Mac. I have here&now by software architects. He does not have stuffit expander or any other application like that.
Question: Is there a way to download Mac applications on a PC, then put on floppy so a old Mac will read and execute it?

Yes use linux. Has no problems in reading MAC-CDs and in writing mac floppies. I don't believe that there will be an utility for Windows.

1. I have Here and Now. It will read and write to floppys that mac will read. Thats not the problem.
I cant download applications like stuffit to put on his machine, that will operate on his Mac.

2. where do I get Linux?

What you need to do is get Stuffit Expander either off of the web or off of a Netscape or System disk. Most current OS installations come with expander. So does netscape. Once expander is on his computer you should have no problem putting the quicken update on a floppy via here&now and transferring it to his computer.
Stuffit can be obtained, online, from Aladdinsys.com
