How to install internal modem.

I am using Linux 6.0 and I have no idea how to install the internal modem... My modem's model is Aztech 55.6K...Please help,

exactly what modem is this?

Does it have a PCTel chip on it?  It sounds like a winmodem, which will not work in linux (unless it is a Lucent chipset).

here the model of my internal modem... It is PCI slot internal modem.... Please help....

Not supported. No pci modems are supported, unless they are based on the 'Lucent Venus' chipset. Your modem is based on Rockwell chips, and are not supported.
