Visual Interdev 6.0(SP3) Can't find System DSN

I'm using VI to create a data driven web page. When I add a data connection, I use OLE DB provider for ODBC. When I go to connection, and click on Data Source Name,  I only get the ODBC connections on my personal machine, not the one I defined on the IIS. What am I doing Wrong?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

That's one of the problems with using ODBC/DSN connections with InterDev.  The project only sees the connections on the machine it is currently working on.  You must have the same connection created on BOTH the server and the development machine.

If your database is located on a separate machine, you will save yourself a lot of trouble by using DSN-less connections.
