The TMediaPlayer plays some movie formats.

Put a panel and a TMediaPlayer on the form. Set the Mediaplayer to play on the panel.

Then do this:

MediaPlayer.Filename := 'MyAVI.avi';
MediaPLayer.Play;

Cheers,

Raymond.

PS: Worth more than a point, don't you think? :-)

use TMediaPlayer component
drop a Panel on the form

then do

with mediaplayer1 do
 begin
filename:= 'c:\myavi.avi';
open;
play;
end;

you can also view the video in the panel if you assign the property.. (can't remember which one now since i don't have delphi here) of the mediaplayer to be viewed in the panel, you can do so from the object inspector.

Oops, forgot the 'open' - thanks bryan :-)

MediaPlayer.Filename := 'MyAVI.avi';
MediaPlayer.Open;
MediaPLayer.Play;

Cheers,

Raymond.
