Visual Studio 6.0 Prof. Ed. - Academic Version
Hi,
At work I use Visual Studio 5.0 Professional Edition. My son, a college student, picked up a copy of Visual Studio 6.0 Professional Edition Academic Version. We loaded it on our home pc and it seems to work just like the non-academic version 5.0.
I know it must be crippled some how but I can't figure it out. I'm sure one of you experts can give me the correct answer. I would prefer a straight text answer but will accept a link if I have to.
Thanks in advance
Frank

Emoreau is correct, they drop the prices so students can learn the software, and they still make a few bucks.

Thanks for the replies. I'm going to leave this question open for another couple of hours to see if I get any other comments. Then I will probably accept emoreau's comment as the answer.
Thanks again.
