I need to  purchase a cable for my notebook pcmia modem which is manufactured by a company known as Newmediacorp.

I don't know the address of the company but they had a web page  (newmediacorp.com) which no longer works.

Does anyone know of a hardware vendor that provides modem
cable that might know which type would connect properly to this modem?

TIA

I had similiar problem before. The modem cable was damaged. I found out if you are using 56K pcmcia modem then the cable is the same regardless of the brand.
I also found it was difficult to buy a new cable as it is sold together with the modem card.
In my case, as the wire was damaged so I managed to reconnect the wire and use as it is. I still haven't found the spare.
