How can I prevent a dialog based application from closing when the user hits the escape button? (Preferably without using SetWindowsHookEx)

   Hook the OnCancel() function for that dialog

void CMyDlg::OnCancel()

Hi  akalmani!
I can get your solution to work if I create dialog-based app with a cancel-button.
But in this case i don't have a cancel-button to map OnCancel to!
How can I solve this?

Please disregard that last unthoughtful comment of mine...
On the other hand I would apreciate some info on how to make the system-menu's close 'button' to work again (after the fix with OnClose)
