COM port for EICON DIVA modem
Hello
I have an EICON DIVA PCI ISDN internal modem. I have just installed a software which uses modem communications, but uses its own modem definitions instead of the windows drivers. "Eicon Diva" appears in the modem list of the software, but the problem is that the port field only lists COM ports. But the neither of the two DIVA drivers (V.120 and X.75) is installed on a COM port (the ports are DiV120 and DiX75). Is there something I can do? I use the DIVA modem mostly for internet connections (Eicon Channel 0, which does not appear in the list of drivers in the modem properties (diagnostics tab) of the control panel), so I'm afraid changing the port of the DIVA drivers might cause conflicts (I also have an analog modem on COM2) and prevent me from using the ISDN modem for the internet.
Thanks in advance.
