ASP encryption?JSP?

Dear all,

IN my project,I've to use ASP to generate certificate and do encryption.
1)Does there exist any free server object to do such things?
2)Is it true that JSP can also do so?But I do not know how to use JSP.May you give me some help on learning JSP/how to use JSP to accomplish my task?Thank you!

The problem, either using ASP, or JSP, is when the client submits data to the server, i.e., submitting a form. You have to pre-process on the client side.
But also if you are sending encrypted data to the client, he must have the key, and the program, to decrypt it.
Because either ASP, and JSP, are on the server, only, there is no way doing real encryption by them.

That's because there is SSL; server, and browser are encrypting, and decrypting automatically.
Another way was to send data through a Java applet, after encrypting them.

For to use JSP, you need an interpretor at the server, just like for to use ASP.
I'm pretty sure that you'll find a free one at java.sun.com, or www.apache.org. Another one is JRun, from www.allaire.com.
One of the ASP object like Server has the certification capability.

Request.ClientCertificate, if you're connected by SSL. This property is read-only.
