I think you have no way to disable color, if printing instructs color output.<br />

Perhaps you can intercept printer output and, with some specialized software, convert colored output to black only, but it's more a desire than a suggestion... :(<br />

I have a new Hewlett Packard Deskjet 610C. I wish to know how I can default the printer to print in black whenever I turn the printer on. That is, I only want to print in colour occassionally turning of the automatic setting and making black the 'normal' printing option. Many thanks in anticipation.
