The Logitech QuickCam Express uses a USB interface. What I am after is the pinout of the socket and whether it is a USB A of USB B socket. Also the differencies between A & B sockets.

Thanks for the information. Useful background knowledge.

What I need to know is which is the +5v, the D-, the D+ and the GND pin. I've tried Logitech and they say they don't know (or wont tell)on the QuickCam Express-it uses USB bus.

Oh, now i get it, thats the same for all USB devices. A/B are only different connectors. "A" is the normal connector found on all perhiperals.

The only place where i have seen a 'B' connector personally is on the docking station for my Compaq Armada, which uses a B connector to connect to the USB HUB in the monitor.
