Best ATX 300W+ Power Supply

I am building a new high end PC.  I am looking for a source of "top-of-the-line" ATX power supplies.  Ideally, I would like a linear supply, but a very well made switcher will do.  Thanks, Tom

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

TheBEST is PC Power & Cooling:

http://www.pcpowerandcooling.com/home.htm

They make rock solid power/cooling products, they have a warranty, and probable most important, you can call them, and actually talk to a tech who gives a damn about what you want. These guys are not from somewhere south of nowhere.

Bill,

What a wonderful PC supply company.  I loved their stuff.  I have ordered the power supply that I want from them.  Please submit your comment as an answer.  Thanks,  Tom

Which did you order Tom?

Dennis, I ordered their 425 turbo cool unit.  I will have to modify my tower a tiny bit, but that's no problem.

Bill, Dennis,  I received my ATX 425 power supply.  It is very well built and is made of a much higher technology than the typical units.  I pulled off the cover to analyze it and wow, what a difference.  It weights about 3 times more than my 300W unit.  Voltage regulatioin is superb.  Thanks again.  Tom

Great Tom...I think we'll check them out for our high end machines.

By the way, Intel released the PIII 800's to distribution Friday, so they should be hitting the distributors in the next 10 days.
We have two of the OR840 boards and a DM6 from Supermicro. The 840 boards had a chipset problem and Intel told us on Friday that the are sending replacements to correct the problem. The core of the chipset has a pipeline problem.
