How do a place a Combo Box inside a Status Bar panel?

You have to use an API to do this... Add the following to a MODULE:

   Declare Function SetParent Lib "user32" (ByVal hWndChild As Long, ByVal hWndNewParent As Long) As Long

Then you can do this:

   SetParent Combo1.hWnd, StatusBar1.hWnd

Remember to set the parent back to the form in the form unload event, otherwise, the application may crash.

   SetParent Combo1.hWnd, Form1.hWnd
