Inbox view deleted from Mail file

The inbox in a users mail file has disapeared.  Now the only way I can view incoming mail is in the 'All Documents' folder.  How do I get the 'Inbox' folder back into there mail file?

Thank you in advance.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hi Bryon,

1. Try Cntrl+Sh+F9 to rebuild all the views and Folders from AllDocuments

2. Try compacting the Database.

3. At the server console load the task "Load Design" and try and access the mailbox after the design is refreshed completely.

Comment here on the proceedings.

Good Luck !

You might also want to make sure their mail file isn't version 4.6 and the client is 4.5. If so upgrade the Client.

Oops,

Instead of load design on server you may
select the maildb and File--Database--Replace design and look for the design replacemant changes.

Good Luck !

Crusher98 - Thanks for your thought but it is actually the other way around.  4.6 client - 4.5 server.

Arunkumar - Thank you also for your thought and effort.  The file-D/B- Replace Design option worked a treat.

Again thankyou both for your efforts.
Here's hoping I can repay the favour some time soon.

Cheers,
Byron
