Day function unable to work

I have a vb application that make use of the Day function in VB5 to retrieve the integer equivalent of the day of the week (e.g. 1 => Monday). It works perfectly in my computer (HP Vectra II)but unable to produce the desire result in another computer (Compaq Deskpro). Could it be solved? If not is there any alternative method to retrieve the day of the week without using the Day function.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

DAY does not give you the day of the week, but the day of the month. what you need is the WEEKDAY function.

EXAMPLE:

MsgBox (WeekDay(Now, vbSunday))

Yup bug solve, it is due to the weekday function, some computer give Monday to be 1 whereas other assign Monday as 2, which results in the inconsistency
