Cannot Display ColdFusion Server Administrator.

I have Personal Web Server installed and use Windows 95. I am not able to display the administrator page to set the settings as everytime I open the administrator, a file save dialog appears asking me whether i would like to 'open it from its location' or 'save it to disk'. It clearly indicates that my IE 5 is not able to display  a .cfm page and i would like to know how to solve this problem.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You would have to enable script execute permissions on your PWS on the CF admin directory. After this is done, the web server would be able to forward all the requests with a .cfm extension to CF server and in response a HTML page would be returned

also try using the URL directly from your browser

you need to configure PWS to send any .cfm files to the CF Server

go to :

its for IIS but the configuration is the same for PWS.
