Copy to import file.
I got asked to use this command to create a semi-colon delimitted extract file. The idea was to save space by avoiding blanks. But it keeps all blanks, even on numeric fields. so I'm worse off than with a fixed position file (size wise.
We're on OS 4 release 3, does it get improved in later versions? Any obvious parameter I've missed.
If I've got say text 30 and numeric 13.2 I end up with
"ANDY ";13.2 ;..... etc
I tried making the text fields variable length fields but the command included the max field length it seems.
