I have two pc's with a normal network. both running win 98, one has a modem and connected to my isp, i need the other to connect thru the first computer thru the network using outlook 97. is that possible if not how can i access the internet from both

If you're using Win98 Second Edition you can try using Internet Connection Sharing. It's built into the OS...

Right click on your "My Computer" icon and select properties, your Windows version will be listed.

In that case (if you don't want to upgrade to Win98 SE) you need software like the kind described here:
